Membership
Firms that are interested in becoming clearing members of New York Portfolio Clearing, LLC (NYPC) need to complete a membership questionnaire and application, and provide certain other documentation as required by NYPC’s membership process. PDF
NYPC has two classifications of membership:
1. Class “A” members – Are common members of NYPC and the Government Securities Division (GSD) of the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) and certain affiliates. These members will benefit from the “single pot” margin calculation process available for proprietary trading positions.
2. Class “B” members – Are members of NYPC only and will benefit from the operational efficiencies offered by NYPC.
