NYPC is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a derivatives clearing organization (DCO) pursuant to Section 5b of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA) and Part 39 of the regulations of the CFTC. As a registered DCO, NYPC is subject to the CFTC’s comprehensive oversight and is required to maintain compliance with CEA “Core Principles” applicable to DCOs.
